Album

See which songs from which albums The Frames played through the years. All setlist songs 262. Years on List is the second live album by Dublin-based rock band The Frames. It was recorded live in Dublin's Vicar Street venue in November 2002. The inside cover reads for mic in reference to Mic Christopher, the late musician and friend of the band. This was the first album by the band to reach 1 in the Irish Album Charts. This glorious live recording shows exactly why the Frames are the darlings of Ireland's music scene. Set List is a sublime distillation of the very best of their work to date. Listen full album. View all The Frames albums. The Frames. 13 tracks. Released in 2003. The album entered the Irish album charts at number 1. The success of the album signalled the bands rise to national prominence after more than 10 years of hard graft, record label trouble and member changes. Considered one of the best live acts in the country, The Frames had a fiercely loyal fanbase, many of who had followed the band from Fitzcaraldo or even earlier, but it was the success of For The Birds , considered by many as the best Irish album of the deca. Исполнитель: The Frames. 2008 alternative. The Frames have always collaborated closely with other groups that emerged from the buskers on Grafton Street, Dublin, where Hansard started his music career. Among these groups were the aforementioned Kíla, and Mic Christopher. On one version of the album Fitzcarraldo, the band used the name The Frames DC, to avoid confusion with an American band. The band released its sixth studio album, The Cost, on 22 September 2006. They appeared on the setlist at Lollapalooza 2006 just 12 days afterward. The band's song Dream Awake was used in the pilot episode of NBC's Life. The FramesDownload free music from The Frames. The large number of bicycle frames lying around his house led neighbours to dub it the house with the frames. In a 2001 interview, Hansard said, I worked in a bicycle shop for a little while, but the name came from. my back garden was so full of frames, my house became known as The Frames house, much to my mother's distaste, she hated it. The Frames formed 1990 is a band based primarily in Dublin, Ireland. As of late 2004, the band consists of Glen Hansard vocals, guitar, Joe Doyle bass guitar, vocals, Colm Mac Con Iomaire violin, keyboard and vocals, Rob Bochnik lead guitar, and Johnny Boyle drums. On both versions of the album Fitzcarraldo the band went by the moniker The Frames DC, to avoid being mistaken with a United States band of the same name. When Christopher died in 2001, Hansard and his band were heavily involved in organising the Skylarkin' concert to commemorate his life and release the album
