Album

Spunk is a bootleg demo album by the English punk rock band The Sex Pistols. It was originally released in the United Kingdom during September or October 1977. The album comprises studio demos and talking recorded with Dave Goodman during 1976 and early 1977, while original bass player Glen Matlock was still a member of the band. Most of the songs would later be re-recorded and officially released on the group's album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. Spunk - Sex Pistols. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. The importance of the Sex Pistols- as a symbol, as a lightning rod, as a flashpoint- cannot be overstated. It transcends the songs they performed, the genre they epitomized, the lifestyle they sold to an entire generation. But, of course, there's still the music to consider. Even if the actual quality of the tracks comprising Never Mind the Bollocks has been subsumed by its overwhelming importance as the Rosetta Stone for the safety-pin set, that certain something is still there when the record's actually played. It's there in Johnny Rotten's voice, as incisive and invict. Spunk is therefore often cited as the Sex Pistols' de facto alternative debut album. Certainly a tape of part or all of Spunk had been played to Tony Parsons as early as March 1977, and became the subject of his NME article, Blank Nuggets in the UK, which described the recordings as if they represented an imminent debut album release. The original Spunk was itself copied and bootlegged immediately upon release. Spunk was released on 17 July 2006 by Sanctuary Records in its original vinyl format CMQLP1395, limited to 1,000 copies. For a bootleg album the quality is on a par with any official release. The demo versions of these famous Pistols songs were fantastic even though they were demo versions and slightly different to the final official released versions. I would recommend this album to any Pistols or punk fans. Read more. SEX PISTOLS - Spunk - CD - Excellent Condition . Condition: Very Good. Sex Pistols Album Live Recording Music CDs.
